Yesterday I went to the Blood Bank to brainstorm about what to do about the Blood Drive now that I am not working at the place we used to do them.

I have a friend Anne who worked at our place for awhile this year, but went back to working next door. She said she would be up for sponsoring it there.

So... We decided on Thursday March 10 to do it in the parking lot of that smaller 2-story building between Asylum and the place once known as Digital Instruments.

Are you interested in helping to get people out for that? Here is what is involved:

1) Sending out an e-m.ail to everyone a few times as it gets closer. (I can tell you how to do that.)

2) Making and putting up posters. (I can print up the label for the event. You would still have to make copies, cut them in half and stick them on the posters they give us.)

3) Having your name and number on the posters in case anyone has any questions. They rarely do and most questions go to the Blood B.ank people. Still, it is good to have a person they can contact in the building.

I would hate to let it fall into the hands of the HR people or just fade away. So, let me know either way if you are interested in being the sponsor now that I am dearly departed!
